Of interest
A couple of quick hits. The activeculture , hellobirmingham , and now al.com links for the meetings are up. The hellobirmingham is faulty with multiple listings and a map linked closer to my paternal grandmother's old house than the store. Like wrong-side of the county off. If you're new and don't know where to find us, try this map or call the store (205) 682-4467. If next month's isn't right, I'll drop them and stick with the others.
An interview of possible interest to the group: http://redstonesciencefiction.com/2010/05/interview-lou-anders/
I came across it on io9 , which has another story on its front page today exploring a question which has plagued mankind since... sometime yesterday apparently. Why is Wil Wheaton charging down on orc John Scalzi while riding a unicorn-dragon-kitten?
Lastly, we're out of The Golden Globe at the moment. Between weekend sales and some overly enthusiastic returns, *ahem*, our copies are gone. I've got more ordered, so with luck, they be back on hand by the end of the week.
