Out of the Box #6
Happy Football!
Yeah, it's Labor Day Weekend and IW folks are scattered all over the planet going to WorldCon in Australia and DragonCon in Atlanta. But it's also the opening of football season, marking the end of the long eight month long drought which are basketball and baseball seasons. Okay, I'm a Cubs fan, but when they're struggling like this year, it gets to be like 162 days of fingernails-on-a-chalkboard fun. (Notice how it's "we" when a team wins but "they" when they don't?) If football's not your game maybe one of the 10 Sci-Fi and Fantasy Sports We’d Pay To See is more to your liking. I wouldn't want to play, but klin zha kinta might be interesting to see.
This week's OotB's running late, but that's not entirely due to sloth. First, there's over thirty titles this week and putting all the links in takes time, especially if I use M5 (my Sony desktop, the laptops are Nomad and V'ger based on their sophistication). Secondly, there won't be an OotB next week 'cuz I ain't at work this week to receive no new books.
