Looks like Bilbo Baggins will be home at Bag End when Gandalf, Thorin Oakenshield, and the rest of their compatriots arrive at his doorstep for an unexpected party in just over two years. One doesn't know whether to be happy or sad for him. I'm happy for me, that's for certain.

Someone you can be sad for is any fan of Caprica as Sci Fi cancelled to struggling series today. Its ratings had been on a downward trend, averaging less than one million for recent episodes. The move may bode ill for Stargate Universe as its ratings have been only slightly better than the nuBSG prequel's Still, the SG franchise has been the channel's flagship for nearly a decade now and they may not be as quick to kill it. Still, any struggles "Sy Fy" has don't hurt my feelings overmuch as their cancellation of FarScape remains an open wound. They're farhbot if they think that dren's forgotten.
